STRIPES Elects New Director

With the beginning of a new year comes the election of a new Executive Director to the STRIPES board. The executive board elected Domingo Pacheco to serve as Director for the 2008 calendar year. Below is his message to all STRIPES members;

"Hello to everyone.  I am excited to have been elected as Director of STRIPES and have been looking forward to this opportunity for quite some time, but I also want to again thank my predecessor for the foundation he has laid.  My roots in the program date back to my sophomore year and because I was so impressed with the service we provide to the community and my peers, I have continually increased my involvement.  I look forward to increasing our volunteer base and to strengthening existing relationships, positioning our organization for future growth while making sure volunteers know we appreciate what they do.  Again, thanks to everyone for allowing me this post and I am extremely excited about our STRIPES's future."
