Fall Classic Golf Tournament Benefits STRIPES
The weather held out on Monday afternoon for the 3rd Annual STRIPES Fall Classic Golf Tournament at Columbia Country Club. Organized by N.H. Scheppers, Willie's, Columbia Country Club, and Power 97.7 FM the tournament raised $5000 to benefit the STRIPES program.
The Fall Classic Golf Tournament began three years ago as a way for local businesses to help support STRIPES. The tournament was completely organized by local businesses in a effort to assist STRIPES in their goal to provide MU students with safe rides home each weekend. STRIPES executives attended to accept the gracious donation raised for the organization.
STRIPES is extremely grateful for the support of local businesses and the money raised will have a significant impact on the success of the organization. Together, STRIPES and Columbia businesses will continue to work together to ensure the safety of the Columbia community.
